A: We believe 0.5 grams of truffles is the optimal amount for a microdose. This is the dosage that MicroMush come in.
Q: What happens if I take more than one microdose at a time?
A: If you are microdosing, please stick to the recommended dosage to get the results behind microdosing. If you exceed the dosage, you will eventually experience psychoactive effects, which defeats to purpose of microdosing. If you want to get high on truffles, we suggest checking out the rest of our Mush-Room. MicroMush is best for those wishing to start microdosing.
Q: Can I microdose at work?
A: The short answer is yes. We always suggest trying your first ever microdose at home on a weekend before doing it at work. Some people prefer to only microdose on the weekends whilst others prefer the opposite and only microdose on the weekdays when at work. It really depends on why you are choosing to microdose and if it assists you in your work environment or not.
Q: How long will a microdose last?
A: The subtle effects of a microdose typically last 8-10 hours.
Q: When should I take a microdose?
A: We suggest to always take your microdose in the morning since the effects can last 8-10 hours. Psilocybin (the active compound in magic truffles) reacts directly with our serotonin receptor (5-HT2A), a microdose provides subtle stimulation. This means it is slightly energizing and may give you troubles if taken too late in the day. For best results, take with nourishing food in the morning.
Q: What is a microdosing schedule?
A: A microdosing schedule is a structured timetable that explains and clarifies which days to microdose. Not everyone follows a strict microdosing schedule as some people only take a microdose when they feel it is necessary. However, many individuals find it helpful to create a microdosing plan for themselves.
Q: Do I have to follow a microdosing schedule to get the benefits?
A: No, following a strict microdosing schedule is not necessary. Many find it helpful however you can still gain many benefits from not having a structure. Here are a few scenarios where some may only microdose when they find it necessary:
Some individuals only microdose for creativity and therefore only take a dose on days they are focusing on creative projects.
Some individuals only microdose as a tool to study better and more efficiently. These microdosers will only take a dose when they have a day of studying ahead of them.
Some individuals only microdose as ‘self-help’ to aid anxiety or mood disorders. These individuals may only microdose during anxious periods or when they need a little gentle ‘boost’ and may stop once they have re-centered.
Microdosing is very personal and finding your own ‘schedule’ or ‘routine’ is essential to a successful microdosing journey. Microdosing is simply a tool to improve your life, not to magically fix everything for you.

Q: Can I microdose for multiple days in a row?
A: Microdosing for days in a row is never advised. Taking a dose two days in a row will create a tolerance build-up. Please always give (preferably) 2 days between doses to ensure you are getting the most out of your practice as possible!
Q: How do I store my microdosing truffles?
A: Please store these as you would regular truffles. Keep cool in a refrigerated environment and consume within 5 hours tops after breaking the seal. Use scissors to carefully cut open your dose as tearing it may lead to breaking the seal on another dose.
Q: Does microdosing make you nauseous?
A: It is not common, however, few individuals do experience slight nausea when microdosing. These individuals are often ones that deal with nausea often outside of their microdosing practice. Although each microdose is very small and generally doesn’t lead to nausea, it is still possible. If you are nausea-prone or get nauseous easily, we can suggest taking a ginger capsule, drinking ginger tea, or eating a small piece of raw ginger before microdosing. Taking nourishing food with MicroMush will also decrease the chances of nausea.
Q: Why do I feel over-stimulated when I take MicroMush? Is there something I can do to help?
A: Psilocybin (the active compound in magic truffles) reacts directly with our serotonin receptor (5-HT2A), which means a microdose provides subtle stimulation. However, it should not result in over-stimulation. Make sure you are not taking other stimulants alongside MicroMush on dose days, such as coffee or other caffeinated beverages. Cutting out other stimulating substances will decrease the amount of stimulation you experience with Micro-Mush. If you still find it too stimulating, try taking half a dose at a time. If you are still feeling over-stimulated or experiencing feelings of anxiety, please do not continue taking Micro-Mush. Although microdosing is successful for more, it is still not for everyone.
Q: Can I recycle the plastic that the microdoses come in?
A: The plastic that each microdose comes in is made out of 100% biodegradable materials. When you are finished with your microdoses, feel free to chuck the ‘plastic’ like material straight into your compost bin! The cardboard box and information cards can also be recycled with other household paper materials.
