Chaga, also known as Inonotus Obliguus, is a well-known fungus that belongs to the family Hymenochaetaceae. At first glance, it could easily be mistaken for burnt charcoal if it didn’t grow on birch and other trees. Native to Northern Europe, Russia, Korea, Northern Canada, Alaska, and Siberia.
For many centuries, this medicinal mushroom has been used in traditional medicine in Russia and other Northern European countries.
